HCC Insurance Holdings Announces Earnings Release Dates for 2010

HOUSTON, Jan 29, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:HCC) today announced earnings release dates for 2010. The earnings announcements will be made after the market closes as follows:

  Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2009   February 23, 2010
  First Quarter 2010                  May 4, 2010
  Second Quarter 2010                 August 3, 2010
  Third Quarter 2010                  November 2, 2010

HCC will hold an open conference call the following morning at 8:00 a.m. Central Time to discuss the results. Conference call information will be on the Company's website, http://www.hcc.com, approximately two weeks prior to each call. Each of the conference calls will also be available by webcast through the HCC website.
